Quality Systems Management

A basic principle in the structure of the Group "Redestos - Efthymiadis Agrotechnology Group" was, from the moment of its establishment, the central organization and provision of critical services to the companies it is comprised of.

In this context, a central department was created for the coordination and supervision of all Quality Management Systems that are applied in the companies of the Group and follow internationally certified standards.

Taking into account the combined action of the various companies of the Group in the field of agriculture, it was deemed appropriate to follow a common approach in regards to the implementation of the various Quality Management Systems adopted by each company and reflect the operating philosophy of the Group and Management.

Thus, the Quality Systems Management Department of the Group coordinates and supervises the implementation of Quality Management Systems in the various companies in collaboration with the staff in charge of the respective issues in each of them. By conducting systematic internal inspections by the individual departments as well as the central department of Quality Systems Management of the Group, a high degree of self-control is achieved, both between the various departments and between the people who are responsible for the implementation and supervision of the systems of quality management. Through this protocol, a more objective internal evaluation of the companies is achieved and a more direct supervision of the way of implementation of the quality procedures provided by the quality management systems.

The Quality Management Systems applied in the various companies of the Group are developed and implemented in accordance with respective International Standards and are certified / accredited by internationally recognized bodies.

More specifically, Management Systems include items such as:

  •   Quality (according to the ISO 9001 standard)
  •   Environment (according to ISO 14001)
  •   Health and Safety (according to ISO 45001)
